About the Online Sketching Retreat

The Online Sketching Retreat brings together more than 50 artists from around the world, each sharing their own approach to sketching. It’s a chance to explore different styles, techniques and ways of seeing — all from home and completely free to join.

I’m delighted to be one of the contributing artists. My session takes you through my pen and watercolour sketch of Callington Mill in Tasmania, looking not just at what I do and how I do it, but why I make those choices along the way.

How it works

The Online Sketching Retreat runs over one week, from 27th October - 1st November, with a selection of new workshops released each day for the first 3 days. Day 1 is Sketching and Drawing, Day 2 is Watercolour and Day 3 is IPad art, then you have 4 more days to complete all the tutorials with the free pass.

Register for free and you’ll be able to watch all of the tutorials during the retreat. The free tutorials are available to stream during the event only — they can’t be downloaded or saved, and access ends when the retreat finishes.

Want more time? Choose the VIP Pass

With so many workshops to choose from, you may decide that a week simply isn’t long enough! The VIP Pass gives you ongoing access to all of the retreat workshops, so you can work through them in your own time, at your own pace.

The VIP Pass is cheaper before the retreat begins. The price increases once the event starts, so if you already know you’d like ongoing access, it’s worth choosing the VIP option when you register.
